ALLA Divisions

The Australian Law Librarians' Association Ltd (ALLA) is a company limited by guarantee which acts as the national body. ALLA has divisions in:

Applicants from non-member states and international applicants are welcomed and encouraged to join ALLA, however the rules of the ALLA Ltd Constitution still require nominating for membership of a state division. Expressions of interest regarding the formation of a Queensland or Tasmania Division from members who reside in those states are welcome - email for more information.

National, State and Territory Divisions provide a range of services to members, including professional development programs, the provision of forums for the exchange of ideas and involvement in the Associations' activities, mentoring programs, e-list and social media communications, and social events.
